Brief Biography
Ulya R. Karpuzcu is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of University of Minnesota. She received the Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests span physics of computing, Ising machines, computing-in-memory, intermittent computing, hardware security, reliability, sustainability and energy-efficiency.
Ulya R. Karpuzcu comes from İstanbul. She graduated from Österreichisches St. Georgs Kolleg (Austrian School, İstanbul), and İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi (double major in Electronics Engineering & Computer Engineering).
